Type specimen: MMPS 544, a partial skeleton ( incomplete cranium lacking the anterior portion of the rostrum and the basicranium but including right and left ear bones (i.e., periotic, tympanic bulla, mall). Its type locality is Pefka, near, which is in a Calabrian marine horizon in the Lindos Formation of Greece.
Ecology: aquatic piscivore-carnivore
Distribution: found only at Pefka, near
