Type specimen: MPM 21,545, a partial skeleton (including axis, dorsals 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 (or 11), and 12 (or 13), two proximal caudals (caudal A, probably pertaining to caudal 3–5 and caudal B, pertain). Its type locality is La Anita (Megaraptorid site), which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial claystone in the Chorrillo Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at La Anita (Megaraptorid site)
