Type specimen: UMPE 945, a mandible (left dentary fragment preserving the alveolus of the p3, and the p4 and m1). Its type locality is Santiago Yolomécatl, Iniyoo Local Fauna, which is in a Bartonian/Rupelian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone/chert in the Yolomécatl Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: semifossorial insectivore-carnivore
Distribution: found only at Santiago Yolomécatl, Iniyoo Local Fauna
