Type specimen: Harvard Univ. 58563, TBS-22-4-B, coordinates 25.0/112.9. Its type locality is Ellery Creek, which is in a Tonian peritidal chert in the Bitter Springs Formation of Australia.

Ecology: stationary "photoautotroph"

Distribution:

• Tonian of Australia (1 collection), Canada (1: Yukon)
