Sister taxa: Haniwoides brevicus, Haniwoides longus, Yuepingia minor, Yuepingia brevica
Type specimen: CPC 15331, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Lily Creek Section B54b, which is in an Iverian open shallow subtidal grainstone in the Chatsworth Formation of Australia.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Cambrian of Australia (18 collections)
Total: 18 collections each including a single occurrence
