Sister taxa: Comanchia minus, Comanchia perincerta

Type specimen: OGM 105-16F-15, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is OGM Locality 13 Arbuckle Mountains, which is in a Furongian open shallow subtidal horizon in the Honey Creek Formation of Oklahoma.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Cambrian of Canada (5: Alberta, Yukon collections), United States (9: Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania)

Total: 14 collections each including a single occurrence
