Sister taxa: Epilestes angustapterix, Epilestes gallica, Epilestes kargalensis

Type specimen: GGM-1844-02/BP-12885, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Mogilnikovo, outcrop 2, Vishera River, which is in a Kungurian lagoonal horizon in the Solikamsk Formation of the Russian Federation.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Mogilnikovo, outcrop 2, Vishera River
