Type specimens:

  • Floridatragulus dolichanthereus: MCZ 3635, a mandible (a pair of lower jaws with right and left M 1 - Ma, right M 1 lacking anterior lobe, and right M3 lacking the posterior lobe; the angles of both jaws and the ant). Its type locality is Thomas Farm, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Alachua Formation of Florida.
  • Floridatragulus barbouri: Its type locality is Thomas Farm, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Alachua Formation of Florida.
  • Hypermekops olseni:

Ecology: ground dwelling browser-browser

Distribution: found only at Thomas Farm
