Type specimens:

  • Hypsiops brachymelis: AMNH 9731, a partial skeleton (A nearly complete skull with the mandible, the cervical and lumbar vertebrae, nine or ten dorsal vertebrae part of which are incomplete, and the greater portion). Its type locality is North Boulder Valley, which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial horizon in the Renova Formation of Montana.
  • Ticholeptus breviceps: CM 1191, a partial skeleton (a skull, mandible, left humerus, left radius and ulna, right radius and part of the right humerus, a tibia, a fibula, a tarsus with two metatarsals, greater p). Its type locality is Woodin, which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial horizon in Montana.
  • Ticholeptus petersoni: Its type locality is Van Tassel (Lower), which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.

• Harrisonian of United States (5: Montana, Nebraska, Wyoming)
