Type specimen: RAM 18619, a partial skull. Its type locality is Rapamys Site, Black Butte I, which is in an Uintan/Duchesnean fluvial siltstone in Montana.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at Rapamys Site, Black Butte I
