Sister taxon: Sinclairella dakotensis
Type specimen: UF 97383, a tooth (right M2). Its type locality is Buda Mine, which is in a Chattian sinkhole claystone in the Crystal River Formation of Florida.
Ecology: arboreal herbivore
Distribution: found only at Buda Mine
