Type specimen: UALVP 62007, a partial skeleton (posterior part of the skull, the subopercles, and anterior part of the pectoral girdles). Its type locality is North Saskatchewan River Valley near Capilano Park, which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation of Canada.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at North Saskatchewan River Valley near Capilano Park
