Belongs to Plagioctenoides according to M. F. Jones and K. C. Beard 2023
Sister taxa: Plagioctenoides microlestes, Plagioctenoides tombowni
Type specimen: CM 70158, a tooth (left p4). Its type locality is Big Multi Locality, which is in a Clarkforkian floodplain mudstone in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Big Multi Locality
