Type specimen: LACMIP 12375, a shell. Its type locality is CSUN Loc. 1563, Larch Mountain area, Black Hills, which is in a Ypresian sand shoal mudstone in the Crescent Formation of Washington.

Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (3: California, Washington collections)
