Sister taxon: Floridictis kerneri

Type specimen: ACM 2011, a mandible (left lower jaw with c1–m). Its type locality is Van Tassel (Upper), which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.

Distribution: found only at Van Tassel (Upper)
