Type specimen: Its type locality is Pipestone Springs, which is in a Chadronian terrestrial claystone in the Renova Formation of Montana

Distribution:
• Eocene of Canada (1: Saskatchewan collection), United States (7: Montana, Nebraska, Wyoming)
Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
