Type specimen: LACM(CIT) 2234, a mandible (right mandibular fragment with M1-3). Its type locality is San Diego Mission (CIT 249), which is in an Uintan terrestrial conglomerate in the Friars Formation of California.

• Eocene of United States (4: California, Montana collections)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
