Belongs to Plesiolestes according to G. F. Gunnell 1989
Sister taxa: Plesiolestes problematicus, Torrejonia sirokyi, Torrejonia wilsoni
Type specimen: UKMNH 9557, a mandible (left mandible with P3-M3 and right mandible with P3-M2). Its type locality is Big Pocket, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial siltstone in the Nacimiento Formation of New Mexico.
Distribution:
• Paleocene of United States (3: New Mexico, Texas, Utah collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
