Sister taxa: Orthocis larssoni, Orthocis vilhelmseni
Type specimen: NHMD 153507, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Danish Amber (University of Copenhagen ZMUC, NHMD Collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Denmark.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Danish Amber (University of Copenhagen ZMUC, NHMD Collection)
