Type specimen: F:AM 44839, a skull (Skull with I1-I2 alv. and I3-M3). Its type locality is Guernsey, which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial horizon in the Marsland Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: there are no occurrences of Phenacocoelus stouti in the database
