Type specimen: TMM PI 1503-1. Its type locality is Devil's Eye, which is in a Ypresian marine horizon in the Reklaw Formation of Texas.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Devil's Eye
