Type specimen: F:AM 33630, a partial skeleton ( Skull (lacking left zygomatic arch) with I1-M3, mandible with i1-m3, partial humerus, femur, and partial tibia. (w+)). Its type locality is Turtle Butte (Cap Rock), which is in a Clarendonian terrestrial horizon in the Ash Hollow Formation of South Dakota.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of United States (2: Nebraska, South Dakota collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
