Sister taxon: Utahia kayi

Type specimen: UM 103485, a mandible (left dentary with p4-m3 and alveolus for p3). Its type locality is South Pass (Gardnerbuttean), which is in a Bridgerian fluvial-lacustrine shale/carbonate in the Wasatch Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: arboreal insectivore

Distribution: found only at South Pass (Gardnerbuttean)
