Type specimen: IVPP V.7262-7263, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Dashanpu Dinosaur Quarry [lower], which is in a Bajocian/Oxfordian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Shaximiao Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Dashanpu Dinosaur Quarry [lower]
