Type specimen: PIN 3779/2, a partial skeleton (skull and partial postcranial skeleton). Its type locality is Chamrin-Us (PIN coll. 3779) [SMPE], which is in an Aptian/Albian fluvial-lacustrine claystone/sandstone in the Dzunbain Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
