Type specimen: IVPP V6730A (field no. Cr. 003), a partial skeleton (A damaged maxilla, a complete tooth, 2 cervicals, 4 caudals, left humerus, and complete right hindlimb.). Its type locality is Dashanpu Dinosaur Quarry [lower], which is in a Bajocian/Oxfordian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Shaximiao Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Dashanpu Dinosaur Quarry [lower]
