Type specimen: MN 4802-V, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Santana do Cariri (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Santana do Cariri (general)
