Type specimen: AMNH 6717 (median portion of right ramus with 4 posterior teeth). Its type locality is Chimney Butte, North Mesa, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Ulan Shireh Formation of Mongolia.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Chimney Butte, North Mesa
