Sister taxon: Anodontosaurus inceptus

Type specimen: NMC 8530, a partial skeleton (skull,lowerjaws,caudalvertebra, ischium, pedal phalanx and osteoderms (including first cervical half ring)). Its type locality is 8 miles southwest of Morrin (90 ft level) [NMC], which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation of Canada.

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Canada (11: Alberta collections)
