Type specimen: MPEF-PV 1672. Its type locality is Las Chacritas, Cerro Cóndor, which is in a Toarcian/Bajocian lacustrine claystone in the Cañadón Asfalto Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Las Chacritas, Cerro Cóndor
