Type specimen: IVPP V.9532-1. Its type locality is Laolonghuozi, Ordos Basin, which is in a Valanginian/Hauterivian fluvial sandstone/siliciclastic in the Luohandong Formation of China.
Ecology: aquatic omnivore
Distribution: found only at Laolonghuozi, Ordos Basin
