Type specimens:
- Anthracobune pinfoldi: British Museum M15792, a mandible (left m2-3 and right m3). Its type locality is Lammidhan, which is in a Lutetian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Kuldana Formation of Pakistan.
- Pilgrimella pilgrimi: IPHG 1956 II 20, a set of teeth.
