Type specimen: ZPAL MgR-I/58, a partial skull (partial skull and two vertebrae). Its type locality is Nemegt locality (Barun Goyot site), which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial sandstone/sandstone in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.
