Sister taxon: Paraglyphanodon gazini

Type specimen: USNM 15668. Its type locality is South Dragon Canyon, "lizard locality", which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the North Horn Formation of Utah.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at South Dragon Canyon, "lizard locality"
