Sister taxa: Magnoavipes asiaticus, Magnoavipes caneeri, Magnoavipes denaliensis

Type specimen: DMNH 918, a footprint. Its type locality is Murell Park tracksite, SMU Loc. 234 (Arlington Mbr), which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian floodplain sandstone in the Lewisville Formation of Texas.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Murell Park tracksite, SMU Loc. 234 (Arlington Mbr)
