Type specimen: UALVP 24918, a maxilla (incomplete right maxilla with P4, M1). Its type locality is Cochrane 2, which is in a Ti1 fluvial-lacustrine siltstone in the Paskapoo Formation of Canada.
Ecology: arboreal herbivore
Distribution:
• Paleocene of Canada (2: Alberta collections), United States (4: Montana, Wyoming)
Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
