Type specimen: PMNH 468, a set of vertebrae (single thoracic vertebra). Its type locality is Grizzly Buttes, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: carnivore

Distribution: found only at Grizzly Buttes
