Type specimens:

  • Falseryx petersbuchi: Its type locality is Petersbuch 2, which is in a MN 4 fissure fill claystone in Germany
  • Bransateryx septentrionalis: DP-FNSP 4555, a set of vertebrae (a single posterior caudal vertebra). Its type locality is Dolnice, which is in a MN 4 fluvial-lacustrine siltstone/marl in the Czech Republic.
