Type specimen: YXV 8701. Its type locality is Jiaojiadian (YXV), which is in a Hettangian terrestrial mudstone in the Fengjiahe Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Jiaojiadian (YXV)
