Type specimen: USNM 2130, a mandible (right mandible with C, P3-4, and M1-4). Its type locality is Quarry 9, Como Bluff (YPM), which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone/sandstone in the Morrison Formation of Wyoming.
Distribution: found only at Quarry 9, Como Bluff (YPM)
