Type specimen: Linqu Paleo. Museum 17, an exoskeleton (body with part of fore & hindwing). Its type locality is Shanwang, Linqu County, collection Dong, which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China.
