Sister taxa: Kinkaidia triserrata, Kinkaidia uniserrata
Type specimen: FMNH UC 30910, a shell. Its type locality is Locality 27. East side of Sugar Creek and west of Sells Hollow, which is in a Chesterian carbonate limestone in the Kinkaid Formation of Kentucky.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal detritivore
Distribution: found only at Locality 27. East side of Sugar Creek and west of Sells Hollow
