Type specimen: M.U.G.D. 2169. Its type locality is Old Toongabbie Marble Quarry, Lower Quarry, Marble Creek, which is in a Siegen carbonate limestone in the Toongabble Limestone Formation of Australia.

Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal parasite

Distribution: found only at Old Toongabbie Marble Quarry, Lower Quarry, Marble Creek
