Type specimen: MOZ 5117P, a set of postcrania (carapace and plastron, remains of pubis and ischia). Its type locality is Loma de la Lata zone (MUCP), which is in a Santonian terrestrial horizon in the Bajo de la Carpa Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: amphibious omnivore
Distribution: found only at Loma de la Lata zone (MUCP)
