Type specimen: Syntype BNHM E 1861, E 13570, OR 75690-2. Its type locality is Mickleton Tunnel, near Chipping Campden, which is in a Davoei transition zone/lower shoreface shale in the Charmouth Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom.
