Type specimen: IGM 100/1315, a skull. Its type locality is Khugenetjavkhlant, which is in a Santonian/Campanian alluvial fan sandstone in the Javkhlant Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Khugenetjavkhlant
