Type specimen: FC-DPV-2322 (formerly SPV-FHC 27.II.78.1), a skull (Anterior part of rostrum, mandible fragments, one osteoderm, and unidentifiable fragments). Its type locality is Los Rosanos, Valle Edén, which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian terrestrial sandstone in the Tacuarembó Formation of Uruguay.

Ecology: carnivore

Distribution: found only at Los Rosanos, Valle Edén
