Type specimen: CAGS00-IG03, a skeleton (slightly incomplete, flattened skeleton with some preserved soft tissues). Its type locality is Dawangzhangzi, which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine shale in the Yixian Formation of China.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Dawangzhangzi
