Type specimen: USNM 1054, a skeleton. Its type locality is UNSM Mo-0 (Whitney), which is in a Whitneyan terrestrial horizon in the Brule Formation of Nebraska.
Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser
Distribution: found only at UNSM Mo-0 (Whitney)
