Type specimen: PUR-4 968, a mandible (left dentary with c1, p1, p2). Its type locality is Purcal 4, which is in a MN 13 fluvial-lacustrine siliciclastic in the Alhambra Formation of Spain.

Ecology: amphibious insectivore

Distribution: found only at Purcal 4
